The D. White Foundation was formed by Damien White's mother and loving family members after his violent untimely murder in 2009.  This unexpected family tragedy has opened our eyes to the fact that  violence permanently changes the lives of many people every single day.

 

Our mission is to transform the minds of our children so they can grow up to value not only their owns lives but the lives of others as well. We are also dedicated to helping the families who have lost loved ones. We are a valuable safety net for youth in our community because we provide mentorship opportunities, tutoring services, an after school activity center, and transportation to and from school.

 

Although we are only in the beginning steps of formation, we are undoubtedly working extremely hard to quickly become up and running. Our children and their future need this.
